Open Homes
One of the most efficient ways of showing your property is by way of an “open home’ as there are a number of advantages to both you and the purchaser.
Open Home Advantages for Sellers
- Open homes also reduce private appointments meaning fewer interruptions and less inconvenience to you.
- You can relax knowing that your property is being well serviced in relation to viewing availability.
- In a busy household, it is easier for you to prepare your home for planned viewing times.
- Buyers are invited to inspect at advertised times on days when they are most likely to be available. In this way we attract the maximum number of purchasers.
Open Home Advantages For Buyers
- Advertised open home times allow purchasers more flexibility with their time.
- Buyers can programme their inspections of various properties which may be of interest.
- Buyers do not have to spend time contacting the agent to arrange a private viewing.
- Buyers can spend more time at the property than they may at a private appointment.
- Buyers do not feel inhibited and can relax more during inspections as they know that the vendors will not be present.
- Buyers viewing a property where the vendors are present will not relax and take in the features. They may look about the property but they will not SEE the real features because they feel they are intruding.
If A Buyer Approaches You Directly
At RE/MAX Leaders we never allow buyers to inspect your property without one of our sales people being present.
During the course of our marketing, a buyer may approach you wishing to inspect your property. If this should happen, please hand them one of my business cards and request they contact me my office to arrange a viewing. Experience has shown that while these buyers appear genuine they seldom proceed with the buying process unless they are in direct contact with a sales agent at the time of viewing.
